Led the Business Design team in crafting web & mobile apps and in-store tools for sellers, merchants, and enterprise owners across various scales of business.
Brief
Maya Business is the evolution of PayMaya Business, reimagined to meet the growing needs of SMEs. What began as a platform focused on integrated payment acceptance has expanded into a full-suite solution offering digital banking and credit facilities. Products were rebranded as Maya Business Manager, Maya Business App, Maya Terminal, Maya Checkout, and Maya Developer Portal.

Vision & Principles
Create and guide the design vision for the team while ensuring alignment with user needs and organizational goals.
Collaboration & Strategy
Collaborate closely with cross-functional lead stakeholders influencing product direction and uncover opportunities through user insights and data.
Execution & Craft
Own complex, high-impact flows and design end-to-end experiences from early concepts to polished, execution-ready interfaces.
Empowering Designers
A key part of my role is creating an environment where designers thrive. I actively identify and remove blockers, providing daily guidance, and fostering a culture of feedback and growth. I lead by example, modeling strong process and high-quality craft.
By promoting clear direction, alignment, and cross-functional collaboration, It empowers the team to stay focused and self-driven. This system allows designers to be leaders themselves that can independently refine solutions, explore multiple iterations, and deliver well-tested, thoughtful designs.
