I was responsible for building human-centered experiences that aligned with business objectives, brand narratives, and user behavior across different markets and industries.

One of my earliest projects was Pinoyhoops which was later on branded as the AKTV Basketball app. It was a pioneering mobile companion for Philippine basketball fans. My team designed a dynamic and interactive experience that brought real-time scores, stats, schedules, and news into an intuitive mobile interface, creating a sense of immersion and immediacy for users. Through smart content structuring and visual hierarchy, we made it easy for fans to stay connected to the sport they love—even on the go.

As we expanded into fintech, I led the UI/UX design for Lendr, a digital loan management platform that brought financial institutions, and borrowers together in a unified mobile-first experience. The challenge was to simplify the complex process of applying for loans—traditionally done offline—and translate it into a seamless digital workflow. We focused on transparency, trust, and ease of use, designing guided steps, clear information hierarchy, and feedback-driven interactions that significantly improved application rates and completion.

In the health and wellness space, I directed the design of WellWatch and LowCal, mobile apps focused on preventive care and nutrition. These platforms required thoughtful user engagement design, including behavior-driven UI components, progress tracking, goal setting, and personalized recommendations—all wrapped in clean, minimal interfaces that promoted clarity and encouragement rather than overwhelm.

In media and entertainment, I led the design for the Eat Bulaga Mobile App, creating an engaging second-screen experience for the iconic TV show. The app offered exclusive content, polls, games, and live engagement features, extending the show’s interaction with fans beyond television. Designing this app meant bridging on-air entertainment with mobile interactivity, keeping the experience both fun and functional for a wide demographic.

These projects were made possible through close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of UI/UX designers, visual designers, and prototypers, working alongside product managers, engineers, and key stakeholders.

As Head of Design, I guided the team from concept to deployment, ensuring that each product delivered a seamless user experience aligned with both user needs and business objectives. I was responsible for managing and developing the design team, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement. I focused on ensuring each designer was empowered, productive, and operating at their highest potential—balancing individual growth with team-wide efficiency and excellence.

Across all these projects, the common thread was my focus on user-first design—balancing business goals with thoughtful interactions, intuitive flows, and visual clarity. My leadership helped shape Voyager’s design culture during a pivotal time of digital transformation in the Philippines.
