Maya is a unified financial ecosystem with two key divisions: Maya Consumer, a digital banking app for individuals, and Maya Business, which offers payment and financial solutions for businesses. Both are powered by Maya Bank, a fully licensed digital bank ensuring secure and seamless services.

I led the Business Design Team, shaping UX strategies to improve acquisition quality, customer engagement, feature adoption, and satisfaction.

In addition to ensuring seamless branding alignment across all business touchpoints, our team crafted design solutions that optimized usability, reduced costs, and minimized friction.

The team created designs for:

  • Maya Business Manager

  • Maya App

  • Maya POS Terminal

I designed two core fintech experiences in the Maya App’s initial releases.

  • Maya Crypto - is a built-in feature within the Maya app that lets Filipinos seamlessly and securely explore digital assets directly from their Maya wallet, removing the need for external exchanges.

  • Maya Credit is an in-app credit line that allows eligible users to borrow funds instantly for payments, purchases, and bills, offering a convenient alternative to traditional loans.

Our team also managed internal tools that support operations and improve customer service efficiency.

We enhanced Boost, an internal platform for in-app campaigns and missions, by refining the UI and UX to streamline self-service management, making campaign and mission setup faster and more efficient.

Additionally, we collaborated with the engineering team to launch a new Developer Portal, strengthening engagement with merchants and partners.
